Performance Marketing Manager

A rapidly growing home improvement company is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to drive measurable growth through data-driven marketing strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on analyzing performance metrics, optimizing marketing spend, and partnering cross-functionally to improve lead generation and conversion. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator who can turn insights into action. Responsibilities Own performance across paid marketing channels, including digital, lead generation, affiliate, traditional media, and emerging channels. Manage and hold external agencies, media partners, and vendors accountable for performance and ROI. Analyze campaign performance, lead quality, attribution, conversion trends, and marketing effectiveness. Identify opportunities to improve cost per lead, appointment quality, conversion rates, and overall marketing efficiency. Build dashboards and reporting to uncover insights and support data-driven decision-making. Partner with Sales, Contact Center, Operations, and Finance teams to evaluate downstream business impact. Audit marketing funnels and customer journeys to identify optimization opportunities. Test new marketing channels, audiences, creative strategies, and offers to improve campaign performance. Provide strategic recommendations backed by data and take a hands-on approach to execution. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, marketing analytics, or digital strategy within an in-home sales or home improvement company. Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets. Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and media partners. Deep understanding of attribution, lead funnels, conversion metrics, and ROI analysis. Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with AI tools, Power BI, Salesforce, GA4, or marketing automation platforms is preferred. Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving continuous optimization. Highly accountable, curious, detail-oriented, and execution-focused. Preferred Qualifications Experience with call center or appointment-setting environments. Background in high-volume lead generation and performance-driven marketing organizations.
